The King Treats Hatters Like Royalty The Ladies With Hattitude (Kearney, Nebraska, United States) were excited to see a performance by Elvis impersonator Joseph E. Hall, who appeared at the restored Minden Opera House a month after reaching the top ten in "America's Got Talent". Even though the group sat in the back of the Opera House, "The King" came down their aisle during the performance. One of these lucky ladies received a Teddy Bear when he sang "I Just Want to be your Teddy Bear," and several received a silk scarf and a kiss on the cheek. Queen Darla Wright-Covert says, "Needless to say we all went wild. He was courteous enough to sign the teddy bear and the silk scarves after the performance. We wanted all of our Red Hat Sisters to know that Elvis has not left the building!"

The Daring Red Hatter on the Flying Trapeze? Have you ever dreamed about running away to join the circus? Well, several Red Hatters from Ontario, Canada, got to live the dream! They visited a "circus school" in Hamilton, Ontario, where they learned the proper ways to bounce on a trampoline, juggle, and swing on ribbons! Marg Korthuis, Head Goddess of The Flaming Goddesses (Hamilton, Ontario, Canada) says, "The instructors who taught us had previously worked for the famed Canadian Cirque De Soleil, so it was a terrific opportunity to realize how much fun it is to run away to join the Cirque!"

Real Sisterhood We get hundreds of stories at Hatquarters each year, and while we thoroughly enjoy them all, sometimes we see an extraordinary story that brings a smile to our faces (and a tear to our eyes!) Alice Graf, Queen of the Red Hatter Day Trippers (Poway, California, United States) tells her story: "I am so blessed to be a Queen of my own chapter. I just got done going through cancer for the third time. All of my sisters were great! These are ladies I did not know until I became a Queen of Red Hats. I have made a Great comeback and blame it all on my sisters. What a group of ladies! They fed me, got me to doctor appointments, to chemo and even took me shopping. I always wore a Red Hat of some kind with my BALD head. Nobody has an excuse not to wear their red hat! It has been one of the most loving and caring chapters of my journey through life. I really don't know if I would have made it the third time without my sisters. I am so glad I found your group and will help in any way to keep it going forever. I know our hearts are in the right place, and the ladies we meet are beautiful and wonderful in so many ways."

Wow! Thank you so much for sharing, Alice! What a wonderful chapter!

Red Hatters Are Memorable! Ten chapterettes of the Bradenton Babes Red Hatters (Bradenton, Florida, United States) celebrated Veterans Day at the Cracker Barrel Restaurant in Bradenton, Florida. The chapterettes came in patriotic attire with, of course, Red Hats! The Babes had celebrated at this Cracker Barrel before and much to their pleasant surprise, the restaurant had their previous picture posted on the Fireplace Mantel!

Red Hatters Meeting Celebrities? The Red Hat Dancers of MD (Lanham, Maryland, United States) hopped on a bus and jaunted off to Washington, D.C., where they enjoyed a trip through Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum! In fact, these ladies couldn't wait to get to their destination to start the fun, and decided to start dancing right there on the bus! Everyone loved seeing the lifelike representations of famous men and women, and everyone wanted to have their pictures taken with the movie stars!
